Be Still, My Heart
The year 1650 called, it wants its still life paintings back...and I don't blame them! This styled shoot with Mari Foster at Something Old Dayton is an absolute dream! Caroline Koehler simply outdid herself capturing these designs. Never have I ever had such a difficult time selecting images from a shoot and I may just have to make this a three-part post (if you're lucky).
Inspired by Dutch Masters, we used a gilded sunlight color palette of faded pink, golden apricot, and creamy white. Feeling as though a fairytale come to life, Hyacinth Bridal dresses added a soft elegance and Something Old Dayton furniture pieces brought an old-world element to the overall aestetic.
And here we find ourselves at the end of the post but don't worry your pretty little heads, I have much more of this shoot to show you. So in the meantime, just try to keep your fluttering hearts as still as this shoot inspiration (see what I did there?).
