Beige is Anything but Bland

Driven by a simple aesthetic, and, of course, a neutral color palette, this styled shoot is proof that you can ditch color, no matter your style. Buff tones infused with the palest pastels and paired with layers of texture is enough to convince even the most die-hard color lover to go beige. Still skeptical? Well the proof is here in the tapioca pudding colored, modern romantic spin we put on a styled shoot with all these pretty images captured by Jenna Powers Photography (insert gasps for air).

Leaving greenery behind, we mostly focused on layering textures together of white, creams and beiges with flecks of soft color. Quicksand Roses, Tulips, Hellebores (a studio favorite), and tame pieces of Spirea were used to create these romantic designs with help from Rose Crinkle Frou Frou Chic ribbon.

To really emphasize this neutral palette, Jenna shot with lots of negative space in our own Zurïe Studio. This inspiration was made possible by styled shoot regulars: our model wearing a Gilded Social dress and One Story earrings, with hair and makeup by Angie Warren.

I love how when bold color is stripped away,  jolts of soft hues catch the eye and romantic movement is exaggerated. If these nude toned designs don't make your heart skip a beat, you may just need to check for a pulse.
