Be Still, My Tablescape

Much like receiving a warm hug from Rembrandt, this Golden Age inspired photoshoot with Mari Foster from Something Old Dayton welcomes you back! If you are just now joining us, I recommend you see the sister post to this one here (for context's sake). Sure to take your breath away, this stunning tablescape straight out of a still life painting certainly deserves a post of its own.

Full of the vibrancy of color and delicate interplay of light and darkness we have come to expect from Dutch Golden Age paintings, we used a variety of texture and shape in floral product.

Designs included Golden Mustard Roses, gilded Ranunculus, Solidago Goldenrod, and Calendula Marigold. Wild white Sweet Pea and pale peach Irises from Sunny Meadows Flower Farm added romance and whimsy to the table adorned with golden fruits and honey colored fabrics.
